We are not a tourism office and a section 'what to do in Tahiti' would be much too tedious so the possibilities are many and unfortunately too often ignored, especially by travel agencies (even specialized) that direct Tahiti and her islands’s visitors to destinations such as Bora Bora, Moorea, Tahaa or Rangiroa.
However, our specialty is the touristic transportation so we wanted to share some general informations that can help internet users.
Here is a non-exhaustive list :

• taxis are generally available at the airport, in downtown Papeete and in main hotels, but without guarantee, certain dates or times may be subject to a 'shortage'.
• public transport, although recently better organised, is still not recommended unless you are ready to spend a long time on the side of the road ... Since the replacement of the traditional 'Polynesian truck' by city buses he has not even the charm of yesteryear that made its reputation.
• the limousine service is not available and not very adapted to the tourism and the specific infrastructures of Tahiti. We think (like many professional partners working with us) to offer today the best quality level available in high-end transfer.
