Manager and main driver of Tahiti Private Services, Baudouin Bertrand decided in 2016 to take advantage of his 20 years of experience in international tourism by setting up his own transport company.
Back in Polynesia after his tourism studies in France and early hotel experience around the world, he integrated the main receptive agency where he evolves for 14 years until directing the department in charge of ground operations (transfers, welcome, island tours) for international and varied guests (individuals, groups, cruises).
Above all, what he wanted to do was getting again direct contact with tourists. In order to provide high and steady quality of service he took on the challenge of returning to road driving.
His seriousness and his good humor will be made available to you in French, English and Spanish in which he is fluent.
The choice of his collaborators and partners fits to the same professional criteria. They undergo constant monitoring to ensure they keep up to the best quality and so match the image of Tahiti Private Services.
After his first European professional experiences, Damien Hautaplain became a driver-guide on the island of Tahiti in 1998.
A lover of Polynesia and its culture, he perfected his knowledge by studying anthropology and history as well as by rubbing shoulders frequently with many guides and artists from the Pacific.
Of great curiosity, he is particularly passionate about photography. Bilingual French - English, Damien also has notions of German and Italian.
His seriousness, good humor and perfectionism greatly facilitated his integration into Tahiti Private Services in 2022.
